Little Kingdom Adventure
A downloadable game
Welcome to Little Kingdom Adventure, a micro-sized RPG by Takuma Gao!
In this game, you will travel the land of Mystvale, in search of three magic orbs, so that you might save the kingdom from certain doom. The main gimmick of Little Kingdom Adventure is that all of the maps are the smallest possible map size for RPG Maker VX Ace, packing an entire adventure into a teeny tiny area! But, just because everything is small does not mean the game is lacking in content! With four main dungeons to explore, multiple optional bosses and various equipment and spells to obtain, there's quite a lot for you to do in this micro-sized RPG!
The game should take the average player about 2 hours to fully complete, but there's still a whole lot of adventure to be had in Mystvale! Essentially, everything that you would expect out of a normal RPG is here, but compressed into a tiny form! There's side quests, plot twists, lots of enemies to defeat, and lots of treasure to collect! I hope that you enjoy your adventure in this little kingdom!
Note: Version 1.2 has been released with a number of fixes. Please redownload the game from this page to update. The changelog can be found in LKA Readme.txt.

Going live with ya game!
Hey, thanks for the playthrough, man! Sorry I didn't see your stream live, but I did just watch it all the way through! Glad you liked it! :)
I really need to adjust the encounter rate, huh? lol
One thing I don't think you noticed is the difference between the offensive spells. Volt has average damage, but neutral speed, so who goes first is determined by their speed stat. Gale is basically Quick Attack from Pokemon - it's not as strong as Volt is, but the caster always goes first. Flame on the other hand is the opposite of Gale - it's the strongest of the three regular offensive spells, but you always go second when you cast it. And as for Judgment... well, it's just outright better than all of the other spells, of course! It has neutral speed like Volt, but it's significantly stronger than even Flame, and it's only real downside is that it costs a lot of MP to cast.
Another thing I don't think you noticed, but that someone else in your chat did, is that the Pot of Avarice fight is in fact a DPS check. His instant kill move always happens after 20 turns have elapsed, and he spends the rest of the fight trying to stall you by inflicting blights and curses, and healing himself. So basically you just need to hit him hard enough, fast enough, before 20 turns go by in order to win.
If you want to try it, there's ONE more little challenge in Little Kingdom Adventure that you didn't complete. First, before trying to undertake the game's toughest superboss, I recommend getting the two remaining pieces of ultimate equipment, which you're pretty much already ready to get.
First, to get the ultimate shield, take the Broken Shield that you got in the final dungeon over to that soldier in the castle that repaired the bridge for you. He'll fix the ultimate shield for you, which blocks all blights and doubles the strength of Defend.
Second, to get the ultimate armor, you actually need to venture into the area where the superboss is for a moment. Go talk to the old man near the well in town, and he'll let you travel down into the well. You need to have at least the ultimate sword to gain access, but you already have it. Once inside, head down and all the way left to open the last red chest in the game, which I believe contains a Mixed Potion, if I remember correctly. Now, return to the town and speak to the treasure hunting NPC and you'll receive the ultimate armor, which gives you passive HP and MP regen.
With the full ultimate equipment set in hand, go and save your game, buy a Life Gem from the item shop, and heal up, and go back down the well. Open the locked gate with the Legendary Key, and press on to find the game's toughest superboss! Have fun! :) If you could stream yourself fighting the superboss, I'd love to see it! There's a little reward beyond the superboss as well - don't forget to check the bookcase in the secret room!
